Ángel Hernández-Bravo

Angel received his master of science in the Autonomous Madrid University in 1985, and master on Computer Engineering  in  Carlos III University of Madrid (speciality of Computer Architectures) in 1999. He also has an MBA (Master in Business Administration) by Madrid International Business School (1994). He was assistant professor in Autonomous University of Madrid from 1985 to 1989 and in this year (1989) he joint IBM as System Engineer. Now is Executive Architect in IBM Chief Technical Officer team for Europe devoted to the government sector. He is primarily working Defense, Police and Cybersecurity systems and  less primarily with Internet of Things. He has been involved in many projects for the defense and police industry, and in healthcare  and pensions systems but also in industrial and infrastructure applications. He possesses a strong knowledge on cybersecurity, on complex middleware systems architectures, on cloud systems and on Enterprise Architectures (ToGAF, DoDAF). He is the ViceChairman of the Technical Expert Council for IBM South Europe, member of SOA and Enterprise Architecture committees on  The Open Group and member of the Spain ISO standardization committee (AENOR) on Smarter Cities, Internet of Things  etc.
